　　12生肖年份的由来

　　在古代人们记时间的方法有限，数学的理念还不是那么充足，当然像祖冲之这样的数学专家还没出生呢，人们就采用一种以六十甲子，天干地支的方法来纪年。甲乙丙丁戊己庚辛壬癸对应子丑寅卯辰已午未申酉戌亥。
　　人们又觉得用12地支来纪年，太过复杂，又改成用12种自然界普遍存在的动物来表示。这样就能说明，古代人小孩在哪年出生，就是纪年所在的年份。而按照纪年来说，小孩在哪年便出生是他的出生年份，如他出生在庚子年，而子对应的生肖是鼠，所以详细的来说，小孩是庚子年，也就是鼠年。
　　自19世纪，阳历传入我国以后，那时候随着社会的进步，西方国家知识的传入，中国人的数学理念也随之增大，就习惯用阳历这种用数字来纪年的方法，因为这样使用起来方便。
